Kenneth Kojola
November 3, 1930 – May 29, 2018

Kenneth L. Kojola, age 87 of Beavercreek, passed away Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at Lincoln Park Manor, Kettering, OH.

Ken received a BS in Metallurgical Engineering at Michigan Technological University in 1951. He was a veteran of the US Navy, serving from 1951 to 1955 as a Materials Engineer in the US Naval Gun Factory. From 1956-60, he was a Supervisory Metallurgist at the US Naval Gun Factory in Washington, DC.  In 1960 he joined the Air Force Materials Laboratory at Wright-Patterson AFB, Oh and retired as a Metallurgist in the Metals Branch of the Manufacturing Technology Division. He was a member of the American Society for Metals, the Air Force Materials and Manufacturing Alumni Association and Alumni Association of Michigan Technological University.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Raphael and Anna Kojola, a brother, Eugene Kojola, and an infant brother. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Pauline Kojola of Beavercreek, two sons: Greg Kojola and wife Tara of New Carlisle, OH and Scot Kojola and wife Saeko of NC. He is also survived by five grandchildren: Evan, Owen and Anna Kojola of New Carlisle, OH and Sullivan and Stone Kojola of NC.
